Bupa Malta is a branch of Bupa Insurance Limited which is represented by GlobalCapital Health Agency Ltd in Malta.

Bupa is a global healthcare company created more than 60 years ago. It began in the UK in 1947 with 38,000 customers and has developed into an internationally renowned healthcare and insurance provider, with more than 10 million customers in 195 countries around the world.

Bupa is a provident association, which means it has no shareholders. The company's profits are therefore reinvested to provide healthcare and research in areas such as wellness, chronic diseases and ageing.

Bupa Malta

Malta was the site of Bupa International's first overseas business in 1971. For over 40 years Bupa Malta has provided top quality service. It is the only specialist in health insurance in the Maltese Islands.

GlobalCapital Health Insurance Agency Ltd (GCHIA), acts as a branch of Bupa Insurance Limited which has passported its services through the European Passport Rights for Insurance and Reinsurance Undertaking Regulations. GCHIA is registered as an insurance agent and is regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
