Is your weight alarming?
A scale called Body Mass Index (BMI) is most commonly used to determine whether you are maintaining a healthy weight.
Calculate your BMI
Divide your weight (Kg) by your height in metres (m). Then take the result and divide it by your height in metres once more.

Hip to waist ratio
Another predictor of whether your weight is healthy is your hip to waist ratio. You can work this out by dividing the measurement of your waist by that of your hips. For men, a ratio should ideally be not over 0.90. For women, that figure is 0.85. The higher the number above these values, the greater your risk of heart disease.
